Exponential law as a more compatible model to describe orbits of planetary systems
Authors
Abstract:
According to the Titus-Bode law, orbits of planets in the solar system obey a geometric progression. Many investigations have been launched to improve this law. In this paper, we apply square and exponential models to planets of solar system, moons of planets, and some extra solar systems, and compare them with each other.

Weyl geometry approach to describe planetary systems
In the present work we show that planetary mean distances can be calculated through considering the Weyl geometry. We interpret the Weyl gauge field as a vector field associated with the hypercharge of the particles and apply the gauge concept of the Weyl geometry. The results obtained are shown to agree with the observed orbits of all the planets and of the asteroid belt in the solar system, w...

full textPre-Noun Modifiers as a Means to Describe Product Characteristics
The article deals with the characteristics of noun phrases functioning in pre-position. Pre-noun modifiers, or attributive modifiers, are among the high-capacity structures in the contemporary English language, as they enable to devoid of prepositions and to describe objects in a laconic way. The goal of this research was to analyze the way scholars interpret this linguistic structure today, as...
full textThe Orbital Distances Law in Planetary Systems
A new approach is proposed for the old problem of the planetary orbital distances in the Solar System. The solution is a simple exponential formula of the type: an= C e 2n/k . The same formula with different parameters could be used also for a large number of satellites of the giant planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The inner and the most massive satellites follow the respective exp...

full textAfrican Jurisprudence: The Law as a Complement to Public Morality
Every society is governed by certain rules (the law), customs, norms and values; and these are intricately crucial to the maintenance of public morality. Invariably, there is a public morality which provides the cement of any human society; the law, especially the criminal law, must regard it as a primary function to reflect and maintain this public morality. Criminal Codes lay down various off...
